Your Memories of Trevor

Trevor was such an amazing person. He touched the lives of many people, and will forever be considered a Hero. No matter how ill he felt, and no matter how tough things were getting, Trev always had a smile on his face.

He missed so much school because he was sick, but he always wanted so badly to get back to school as soon as possible and see his friends. What a bright attitude for such a young person. My memories of him will always be positive ones… he has inspired me to always look at the positive side in life, and live each day to the fullest. Hard to believe that its almost been two years, it seems like just yesterday I saw his smiling face. He was too young to leave us, but a perfect Angel was needed up above, and Heaven recieved him.

Love you Always Trev
-Your cousin, Lindsey Lewis

Little we knew that morning,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone;
a part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories;
your love still our guide,
and although we cannot see you,
you’re always by our side.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing is the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.

Always loved and remembered.

Trevor June 17/84 – November 13/03.

November 13th, 2004

Today is the day, exactly one-year ago, when god “our friend” decided to take Trevor home.

Why so soon, we’ll never know, our angel is gone, to the heavens above.

Happy 20th Birthday to our little angel

Everyday in some small way, memories of you come our way.

Not a day has gone by that we have not thought of you.

We still expect you to walk through the door and light up the room with one or your original comments that could bring a smile to everyone’s face.

We must as always thank the donor families for giving you the gift of life and receiving two heart transplants.

You fought so hard to live, and never complained, but alas a special angel was needed in heaven.

It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of all of us went with you, the day God called you home.

Your family and friends miss you so much.

I have many great memories of my beloved grandson. At some point I will be able to share some of these with you.

Trevor was a true inspiration to hundreds of people, some he knew, most he did not, but he managed to touch their lives.

I look up & speak with Trevor daily.

Tomorrow is Trevor’s birthday ….Happy birthday in heaven Trevor.

all our love

Isn’t it interesting how some people face the tough challenges of life? They stand tall and strong against all odds. They seem to have an unending supply of determination and courage that lifts them above their problems. They often display a calm peace and a gentleness that even allows them to care for those they meet each day. They smile and say, “I’m okay, how are you?” even though we know otherwise. Don’t you just love friends like that!

You thought of Trevor didn’t you! That’s how I remember him. Whenever we talked at One Way Inn, he was positive and always had a smile for everyone. If you really pressed him, he might give you the newest info about his health, but he never wanted that to be the focus of the conversation. He was a very brave young man, but he really was just one of the guys who didn’t want to be treated any differently.

The “Trevors” of this world have so much to teach us about love and life.

Thanks for the way you showed us how to stand strong with courage and determination and to also genuinely care for others. Do you really want to remember Trevor? He would invite all of us to put these same qualities into practice as we reach out and touch the heart of every person that comes into our lives each day!

When we love much, we grieve much. I guess that is why so many of us will always grieve so deeply as we remember Trevor every day!

Dearest Trevor,

Today on your 20th birthday we celebrate your life.

I will not deny that the tears are still coming and this is harder for some than others….this may appear as sadness although to all of us lucky enough to have memories (and even to those who didn’t get the chance to) you bring smiles to our faces.

You are the sparkle in heaven, the night sky, and our hearts. Every time we smile we are reminded of how much brighter our lives are because of you.

Never to be forgotten.

Love always,
Linda (a.k.a Nips)

You came to Drop-in and gave us the opportunity to get to know you.

We never heard you complain.

You never wanted to be treated differently, even though the mother part of me worried some nights when you played ball hockey.

In some ways you helped to shape what Drop-in has become.

You taught us about appreciating each day and the value of friendships.

You are loved by many and won’t be forgotten.

What can I say about Trevor that hasn’t already been said?

I wish that I could have met Trevor sooner, but in the short time that I knew him he touched me and changed my life forever.

I never had a little brother but he teased me like I’m sure his little brothers did to him!

I constantly got hassled about my hair or the fact I was older than him. That never stopped us from having a good time together whether I was at his place watching a WWF pay-per-view or he was over at my house for dinner with Samantha, Tyler and Tanner trying to steal my Leafs slippers!

Trevor was a special person and touched many peoples lives, including me. Trevor is gone but never forgotten.

T-Man will live in my memories and my heart forever. I miss you Trevor!

Love Kirk

My very special baby brother, my Boy Boy through and though.

You gave our family so much strength; you kept us together

We have so many memories together, yet not enough

An inspiration to all: your laughter, your personality but most of all, your strength.

You will always be missed but never forgotten.

You are our special angel!

Love you Boy Boy!
Samantha

I am honoured to say that I had the opportunity to meet Trevor and spend time with him, he will hold a special place in my heart.

He was an inspiration to anyone who had the chance to know him, his will to live and to enjoy every moment to the fullest even when his health was not the best.

I am thankful to know he was a friend and I enjoyed his time he spent with me whether it would be darts, chatting on phone, bugging me, and even getting under my skin.

I think he enjoyed me as well because he enjoyed life and everyone around him.

I miss you Trev and watch over me because you are my special angel.

I remember when I always went over to Tyler’s house and Trevor, Tanner, Tyler and Me (ADAM.C) went swimming in their pool and then we would all play on the PS and PS2.

I just wish Trevor was still here so we could be doing the same things.

Adam.C
